Day-by-Day Tour Itinerary
Departure from Delhi to Chopta
Gather at Kashmere Gate Metro Station by 8:00 PM. Meet your Trip Captain and embark on an overnight mountain journey.
Devprayag Sangam, Dhari Devi & Reach Chopta
Witness holy confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi at Devprayag. Visit sacred Dhari Devi Temple. Arrive in Chopta (Mini Switzerland) by late afternoon. Check into Swiss Camps. Evening bonfire and dinner.
Tungnath Temple & Chandrashila Peak Trek (13,100 ft)
Early breakfast. Drive to Chopta trek base. Hike 3.5 km on paved trail to the 1,000-year-old Tungnath Temple (highest Shiva temple on Earth). Continue 1.5 km to Chandrashila summit for jaw-dropping 360° views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba peaks. Return to camp for bonfire.
Deoria Tal Lake & Return to Delhi
Drive to Sari village. Short 2.5 km hike to Deoria Tal reflecting the massive Chaukhamba snow peaks in its still waters. Depart in the afternoon back to Delhi.
